At ClipMaster, we believe you should be able to fully experience our transcription accuracy, AI scoring engine, and caption editors before purchasing a subscription. To support this, our Free Tier grants you monthly credits to test the complete video editing pipeline. In return, free exports contain a ClipMaster visual watermark.
Watermark Removal
Upgrading your account to the Creator, Pro, or Business tier immediately removes the watermark from all future renders.
Why Do We Apply Watermarks?
High-fidelity AI transcription and cloud-based rendering require substantial server infrastructure. The watermark allows us to offer genuine, risk-free access to our tools for testing purposes while protecting the premium value of our paid tiers.
- Free / Invite Accounts: Exports rendered on the Free tier automatically burn the ClipMaster logo into the top or bottom corner of the output file.
- Paid Subscriptions: Renders generated on any paid plan or using purchased top-up credits are 100% white-label and free of watermark overlays.
Re-Rendering Clean Versions
If you previously exported a watermarked clip during a trial and now want a clean version:
- Upgrade your account or purchase a top-up pack to get paid credits.
- Open the existing project workspace in your ClipMaster dashboard.
- Click Export on the saved clip and select your aspect ratio.
- The system will render a new, clean version without the watermark, consuming paid credits for the render.
No Automatic Retroactive Updates
A watermarked export is a compiled MP4/MOV file. We cannot modify or strip the logo from files you have already downloaded. You must re-render the clip from the editor to generate a white-label version.
Optimal Use Cases for Free Exports
Free, watermarked clips are highly functional for:
- Internal Proof-of-Concepts: Demonstrate the AI's clip selection and caption styles to your team or stakeholders.
- Style Comparisons: Validate your font choices, highlight colors, and crop layout before spending paid credits on a final render.
- Workflow Testing: Confirm your Autopilot feed connection is successfully ingesting content.
